Technical rigor & methodology

    Goal & Scope Definition

    Establish system boundaries, functional units such as 1 kg, 1 tonne or 1 MWh where these describe the intended function, and data-quality requirements.

  2. 02

    Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) Analysis

    Combine primary site data with representative background datasets, such as ecoinvent, Agri-footprint and regional grid mixes, subject to licensing and study needs.

  3. 03

    Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA)

    Model climate change, acidification, eutrophication, water scarcity and resource depletion using appropriate LCIA methods in SimaPro or openLCA.

  4. 04

    Interpretation & Uncertainty Analysis

    Test conclusions through sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulation where appropriate. Run counts and distributions are selected for convergence and data quality.
